Q.  What type of franchise is available?

A.  The franchise offered is for the establishment and operation of an employment staffing business providing temporary and permanent placement services for standard offices and medical offices.  We offer 2 franchises:  a Horizons HRS start-up franchise and a Horizons HRS conversion franchise.

Q.  How much does the franchise cost?

A.  The estimated total investment necessary to begin operation of a Horizons HRS start-up franchise ranges from $87,083 to $181,450.  The estimated total investment necessary to begin operation of a Horizons HRS conversion franchise ranges from $27,200 to $37,050.   

Q.  How much is the fee for pay/bill service fee?

A.  The pay/bill service fee,” is if less than $5 million – 4.75% of gross receipts or $5 million to $10 million – 4.25% of gross receipts or Over $10 million – 3.75% of gross receipts and is paid weekly.  This fee entitles you to use the “Horizons HRS service mark, use of distinctive system, marketing assistance, ongoing business development and counseling, and other benefits that come with being Horizons HRS franchise.

Q.  Will I have an exclusive territory?

A.  You will receive an exclusive territory (called a “protected territory”).  The protected territory will be described and depicted in a map attached to the Franchise Agreement.  We determine the boundaries of the area based on a variety of factors, including population, median population age, proximity to competitors, proximity to other franchisees and natural, physical or political boundaries.

Q.  How much training is provided?

A.  The initial training covers all material aspects of the operation of Horizons HRS franchise and is comprised of classroom and on-the-job training.

Q.  What is the term of the Franchise Agreement?

A.  The initial term of the Franchise Agreement is five years from the date the Franchise Agreement is signed.  The franchise is renewable for four successive terms of five years each, providing you have complied with the provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
